End of the season at Signe's musicschool

Today was the last day at the music-school for this season. Signe is continuing on the western concert flute next season, which begins in September.

So today parents and other family members were invited to join the last lesson. Me and Lisa went with Signe, and it was really a nice lesson; the teachers and students played all the songs they had learned throughout the season, and there was cake and drinks. Lisa was hilarious! She wanted to join Signe when she was playing, so she walked up and stood beside Signe, and she hardly moved except for a bit of dancing. Her face was deeply concentrated and I'm sure she felt like she was performing too!

After one song, she ran to me, sat with me and clapped and danced. Then, with the next number, she went to stand with Signe again. Signe liked it, she was proud of Lisa. But it was so funny to see how Lisa felt like she was performing, and she even waved at me from where she was standing, haha!
A really funny day :-)

The Hairdresser

Today Lisa was at the hairdresser for the very first time. She knew that she had to be good and sit still, and she was very excited. Signe came along for moral support.
When finally in the chair, Lisa acted like a statue, she was completely still, didn't say a word, and didnt even want to hold my hand. She liked it very much. After the hairdresser, we came home and she was very excited about sowing her new hair to Odin. Now, she´s walking around saying that she has pretty hair - and she does!

 

Riding lessons

Last Monday, we brought Lisa to Signe´s riding class. Lisa loved it!

Spring 2012

Time goes fast, and I realize that I once again left the blog alone, and didn't manage to update it. I will in my next attempt to keep it going, have Odin post from time to time as well. That ought to help.

New Year

New Years eve went fine, we had friends over for a nice dinner and some Kinect-playing. We had a wonderful evening. After dinner, we went outside to do a bit of fireworks for Lisa, so she could see it, before bedtime. She didn't like it much, the loud blasts were too much for her, the colors she liked. She was on my arm, yelling " A PÅ FAR", meaning "watch out, dad". She slept through the night, didn't wake up at 24:00, although the street was lit up and it was LOUD.
Signe was with her dad and had a wonderful evening too. Now they both walk around with their hats on, playing and having fun together.

Vacation

The vacation days pass calmly, the girls are enjoying their x-mas gifts and Odin & I relax and play our new games. On New Years we are having some friends over for dinner, Signe will have New Years with her dad, so its Lisa as the only child. We expect it to be calm and nice, as usual :-)

Christmas-time already!

In two days, its Christmas eve. I cant believe it. Its 5 degrees outside and I'm not at all finding my Christmas-spirit. The girls do, though, they are very excited about all the things going on these days :-) So are the cats, especially Aslan, who can´t really understand why he cant climb in the tree, just because its in the living room - it even has toys on it! Well, only a few pieces broke..
All the gifts are ready, except for one or maybe two, I will take care of that today :-) The food we wil buy tomorrow.. all we need is snow. It snowed a little the other day, but its too warm for it to stay. This is really an "off-Christmas", being this warm outside.. its just not right.
Anyways, all is set for Christmas eve, Signe will come home and join in for the fun, I cant wait to have the day perfect for the girls!
