I dont know why I act surprized about this picture, because I should have known that the time would come - I just didnt think it would come so soon... Odin is trying his best to make the girls into real Gamer-Girls, and here´s the proof...

Lisa in the "walk-chair"

We enharited this walking chair from Lasse, my cousins boy, and Lisa is now big enough to use it. She loves sitting in it, and today she managed to make it move! :-)

Parentmeeting at school

At this time of year, all parents are invited to the school for a short talk about how their children are doing. I went to the school for such a talk just a few days ago...
Signe is doing very well, she is strong in both danish and mathematics. She is good at writing, spelling, reading and her teacher said that there´s basically nothing they can teach Signe anymore in 0th grade. The danishteacher has begun teaching things meant for grade 1 now, so there is something to do. Math is the same, Signe has alot of fun in math-classes and she´s good at it too.
Socially, she has alot of friends, her "best friends" changes alot, but it´s usually the same 4-5 girls she mentions. She´s not very fond of wild games and gymclass. However, her teacher told us that Signe is beginning to have fun in gym, now that they do ballgames like "stikbold".
So all in all, we are very proud :-)
We told Signe most of what the teacher said, and Signe was very proud of herself as well. She likes being a "good girl" in school.

Next week in school will be Art-week, and we have been invited to a grand art-exhibit next friday. Can´t wait!

Finding a bike for Signe...

For a while, Signe has needed a bike. We found out which size she should have, by visiting the local bike-shop, and then we went browing the internet for used, good and wellkept bikes. We quickly found out which ones were the good ones, and they were all around 1200-1800 kr. (around 200 euro). Then, yesterday we saw a really nice one, same type as the most expensive ones, for only 600 kr (80 euro), and we quickly made a call. So yesterday evening, we had a new bike for Signe. The previous owner had taken really good care of it, and we can´t wait to show the bike to Signe on monday. All we need now, is a small basked for the teddy :-)
