All the girls!

Right, so where are we... the eldest first:

Signe is doing really well in school, and she has friends over all the time, not a day went by this week, without visitors in the house. Naturally, Signe has also been proud of the kittens, and wants to show them. Today in school, she brought a picture of Luna and Gaia, which is to be hung on the wall in the classroom - lovely!

Lisa is crawling! She also stands up and walks around everything. As long as she has something to hold on to, she moves around all the time. She really loves being able to DO something. Its like her mind is further than her body - she wants to do a lot, but she cant yet. it can be very frustrating for her. However, she is happy and lovely as always :)

Gaia is really showing us her charming personality. She fears nothing and wants to be in the middle of everything all the time. She is a bit of a rascal, and will try to get it her way, no matter what we try to teach her.

Luna is still more cautious, but not nearly as much as when we first got her. She is SUCH a snuggler, and wants to lie and cuddle all the time. She is very occupied with butterflies flying by the window, and we think she will be a real huntress. She seems a bit more clever than Gaia and gets the idea quickly, when we try and teach her - not to eat the plant, for example.

So... everything is going fine here, we adore all 4 girls :-)

Puzzles

First day with our new family members went fine. Gaia is very brave and curious, she wants to go everywhere and sniff everything. She´s also very playfull!
Luna is more held back, and wants to take it slow. She´s extremely cuddly, and will follow her sister, if she has to - she doesn't want to be alone.
They are both gorgeous!
Yesterday evening, Signe was lying on the floor with a puzzle, and naturally, Gaia was there instantly.

Kittens

We have today decided on two new family members, who will be joining us this weekend :-)
We are not sure what to call them yet - any ideas are welcome! They are sisters and both of the noble race "Maine Coon". We met them today, along with their parents and another sister and brother, and it was an absolute pleasure :-)
Welcome, Ladies!

Daycare

Today is Lisa' s third day in daycare. So far it has been very easy dropping her off, she seems very interested and eager to play with the other girls. The daycare-mom has 4 girls in total, Lisa being the youngest. This week we teach her to get used to the place, and today is her longest day there, so far. She was dropped off at 9 and will be picked up after her nap, around 13-14:00.
When I dropped her off this morning, she was smiling and dancing a bit, when I left. I don't think she really understood that I was about to leave, she was too busy to wave at me.
We expect her to maybe get a bit upset in a few days, when she realizes that this is something we do everyday, and that we will leave her there. But we'll see, so far, there are no troubles what so ever. Well done, Lisa!

Goodbye Felix

And so came the last day with Felix. The doctor found cancer in him, so we made the tough decision of letting him sleep.
Safe journey, Felix.
We love you and miss you.
