The opening of "Sillebroen"

We were at the opening of the new mall, and there was entertainment for kids as well as adults. The celebratoin of the opening lasted 3 days, and one of these days we had the pleasure of seeing "Lille Nørd" live. Its a show that Signe has been following closely on TV, with her favourite hosts; Jeppe & Marie. They do really nice kids tv, and the show they put on in the mall was also really good. After the show, Signe stood in line to get an autograph.
Great fun :-)

Waiting for the Icecream truck...

Signe was fooling around, Lisa loved it :-)

Walking in town

Lisa and I often pick up Signe from school, and we walk home. Since Lisa can almost sit by herself now, I place her sitting in the babycarriage. She seems to be very quiet and observant, when I do so, and all the new surroundings tires her out. However, she loves watching Signe who always walkes around, singing and talking.
The other day was very sunny, so Signe got an icecream while walking home through town.

Spring is here!

The weather is abit warmer, the snow melted. However, the best way to see that spring has arrived, are kids playing outside :-)

School Prom

Tonight was Signe´s very first School-Prom. It´s an event that takes place every year, and the evening consists of the following:
- Theater performed by the Drama-class, 8th and 9th graders.
- Students dancing for their guests/parents
- Coffee and Cake
- Disco for the kids

I managed to film abit of the show-dance, which I am going to try and put here on the Blog. All the parents were filming, it seemed, and it wasnt so easy getting a clear view.
The idea is that we will flm the event every year, so Signe can have it all, when she gets older.
Great evening! :-)

Happy Girl

Lisa being very happy, sitting on Daddy´s lap.

Appledress

Signe in her new apple-dress. Her father bought it for her, and she insisted on wearing it to a birthday party for a classmate. So naturally, her parents drive back and forth so she can wear her pretty dress :-)

Café visit

Today, Lisa and I met up with some of the other moms from mommygroup and had coffee at the local café. Lisa was sleeping quietly in the babywaggon, as I walked to town. Just as we had sat down and ordered coffee, Lisa woke up. She was standing outside the café and I went to get her. She was VERY interested in what was going on around her in the café, and it was hard to concentrate on eating, even though she was hungry.
But it all went fine, when we were done with the small visit, I packed her in the babywaggon again, and she fell asleep again for the walk home.

The last few days Odin and I have been practizing a new rythm with Lisa, to make the evening abit more "grown-up" and to fit Signe´s schedule abit better. So now we all wake up around 6:30 - 7:00. Lisa has a milk-meal then. She sleeps for about 2-3 hours during the morning and has a solid mashed-something-meal around 12-13. A small drink of milk around 14:00 and a nap for about 1½ hours again. After that, she wakes up around 15 and is up all evening. She has her second solid mashed-something-meal around dinnertime, when the rest of us eat as well. A small drink before bed, which is around 19:30. The night is calm, and she sleeps very well. She is up arond 2 for a quick drink, and then sleeps on - till 6:30.... and so on. The milk is still directly imported from mommy.
We hope to stick to this rythm, it seems to work very well so far :-)

I have feet !!

Lisa talking with Buster

Lisa having a chat with her "cousin", Buster :-) He was very gentle and padded her nicely on the legs, while saying something like "Ae Ae". Aunt Trille was translating :-)
This was while at Lisa and Signe´s great grandmothers birthday.

Vaccine and Disco!

Today Lisa got her second round of vaccines. It was the same as last time, and she took it abit nice than last time, she only cried briefly at the second shot. The doctor examined her and Lisa is now: 70 cm long and weighs 8,3 kilos.
She is healthy and following the expected developement beautifully. The doctor said, with a smile on her face, that Lisa has abit of a low voice, hehe... we have been noticing that at home as well. While Signe sounds like a fairy, Lisa sounds like a rusty, black jazz-diva who´s been smoking too much :-)
All in all: Lisa is in perfect shape! - We now hope that the next 24 hours will be calm, and that she wont get too much of a fever etc. from the vaccine.

Signe started to "Disco" at the local danceschool. Its on wednesdays and she is in a class with 3 of her classmates. She has only been there once so far, but she LOVES it, she came bouncing out of class last time, and wanted to show everything they had done. Perfect :-)
