Lisa going to the doctor
Yesterday Lisa went to the doctor for her first vaccines. They consist of something called "DiTeKiPolHib1" and "Pn2". Its impossible to translate, but its something like: verkrampen, kinkhoest, difterie, polio, haemophilus influenza type b and pneumokok.
She was utterly cute, sitting with her new sweater and boots (chistmasgifts) in the car seat. All nice and ready to go. At the doctors office, she didnt mind having her clothing off and she even smiled at the doctor - not for long, though. She needed to be stung twice and she cried both times. However, she quickly got over it and became her own happy selv. We were told to expect a day or two with fever, but that it would go away again. Its her own system making the new antibodies, to fight off those disease. We got back home, and yesterday evening, she got a fever. She was tired and warm, so we took her temperature - 38,8. She slept alot, and this morning she still had a slight fever.
Its been going up and down all day, she didnt sleep much, and she´s been upset from time to time - hard to see those BIG tears!
Now she seems to get better again, the fever is gone, but she is still not fully happy.
We hope that tomorrow will be completely normal with no signs of the vaccines :-)
